What I’m Loving Lately: a recipe roundup

I’ve been getting pretty busy (read: crazy in the head) lately with the wedding coming up and general work duties so my recipe development has been pretty sluggish. I have made some pretty spectacular meals but I haven’t had time to sit down and log them all. This makes me so, so sad. I love sharing everything that I eat with you because it’s just so darn good, and when I can’t get it to the blog I feel a little bit guilty, like I’ve been quietly cheating on you all with my delicious new dressing or a sinful dessert.

No fears, though, I have not forgotten about you.

Instead, what I’m doing is showing you some drool-worthy recipes that I’ve been fantasizing about lately. I still love looking around at other blogs because there are so many incredibly talented (and witty!) bloggers out there. So here is a recipe round-up of some of my favorite blogs:

Fragrant Vanilla Cake. Her creativity is endless and her desserts are seriously amazing. I wish I could taste-test everything … This pb&j trifle is so delicious looking that I feel like I could lick the screen ..
This Rawsome Vegan Life. These ice cream sandwiches are taken to The Next Level as they are dipped in a superfood concoction and served on a stick. Seriously. I’ve been mapping out an ice cream sandwich that I can’t wait to experiment with and this one made me giddy with excitement.

Coconut and Berries. Check out this Banoffee Pie. I feel like this could go as a breakfast item, a dessert item, and even a celebration item. I love this. It’s simple. I’m sure it’s delicious. And depending on how you play with the ingredients it could be 801010 as well.

I Spy The Beautiful. ISTB’s Raw Cauliflower Tabouli is featured at Detoxinista’s website (both are fab blogs, btw) and I think this looks like such an easy and refreshing dish. The ingredients are easy, accessible, and fairly cheap … seriously, about $5 for this whole entire dish?! Yup. Raw food is awesome.
Katy’s Kitchen. This is called the “Sunshine Bowl” and even though it’s technically not raw (shhh don’t call the raw police!) it looks incredibly delicious and satisfying. I love pesto and avocados and tomatoes and all of them together just seem like a logical next step.

Fully Raw Kristina. Oh my goodness, you guys, her recipes are so easy and delicious. These are so silly and nothing like actual donuts but they look delicious, easy, and fun nonetheless. I can’t wait to give these a shot. I think I’ll try them with my family when I’m back home ..

Taste Space. A raw Thousand Island dressing … ? YUM. I love this recipe and I’d love to try it. I’m so happy to be able to share it with you.

I love how simple these are compared to other raw dishes and I also love the flavor. I have my work cut out for me 🙂

What are your favorite blogs??

hey 👋

I'm Kiki. I am a pretty basic plant-based chick that does yoga and all the things. I try to have as little impact on this planet as I can and I share all the ways I do it here with plant-based vegan food, eco-friendly sustainable living, home gardening, and homemade all natural everything.

I truly believe that if we all do all of the 'little things' then it will add up to make a big difference. I'm so glad that you're here to join me in doing lots of little things.

Millions of people from all around India (and the world!) visit the Ganges River, a sacred river that flows from Shiva's head and out to the Himalayas.

It is believed that bathing in her water is the way to salvation, a way to clear karma, sins, and attachment to this world.

Every day, millions of people pray to the river, sending their blessings through the water to be sent through the country, one winding mountainside at a time. To bathe in it is to bathe in prayer.
