Sautéed green beans with onions and garlic
A delicious and easy vegan side dish, these sautéed green beans with onions and garlic are sure to be a crowd pleaser.

Trim the green beans.
Heat a large stainless steel or cast iron skillet. Spread the beans without oil and cook on high heat. Toss every 2-3 minutes. Beans skin will become wrinkly and start showing some spots.
Set aside
Add the olive oil, stir-fry for 2 minutes with salt.
Add the onion. Sauté till translucent.
Add the cooked green beans back to pan, stirring to combine
Add minced garlic, red pepper flakes and cook for an additional 1 minutes
Serve sprinkled with slivered almonds or sesame seeds.
