About

me

ohhhh where to begin? I started this blog in 2010 as a raw food blog. And now? I’ve lived as a digital nomad for the last 8 years and now I’m sharing what I’ve learned along the way.

Mission

to live with compassion, kindness & Empathy

After leaving the US, I discovered many different stories about people from all around the world. My “real” and “raw” kitchen became a lifestyle beyond a dietary choice.

Everything I share here is from what I have learned along the way. From traditional dishes from around the world to natural remedies for daily living, I’m sharing what I’ve learned. I’m going back to the basics and learning everything from scratch.

And what I’ve learned so far is to be humble and to show compassion for others and the planet.

My Story

After leaving the US, I spent time traveling through Central and South America. I stayed in Ecuador for a few years, where everything changed. What can I say, my small town upbringing was shattered into a million brilliant pieces. My own life and story became but one in a world of billions of possibilities.

From there, I traveled through India and Southeast Asia until I happily settled in Australia, where I learned what it’s like to live in a place with a supremely chill culture.

Now, I’m back in the US and I’m also in my 30s. Lessons have settled on my heart and I’ve tasted dishes from around the globe. And I’m writing about it all.

Being a digital nomad means that I’ve learned some skills, a very specific set of skills. It’s called blogging and these are my other sites.
