raw soup
This soup is perfect for the winter, for the transition period, or for the man that is convinced he’s less manly if he eats a cold soup. Or if you are just craving yams, which I do quite regularly.

High-RAW warming soup
Yields: 3 cups (2 servings)
-2 cups yam, peeled, chopped, and cooked until fork tender
-1 1/2 cups zucchini (raw), chopped
-1 cup raw almond milk (or any raw nut milk) 
-3/4 teaspoon cinnamon 
-1/8 teaspoon nutmeg 
-1/8 teaspoon sea salt (or to taste)

Blend all of the ingredients in a high speed blender until smooth. The yams bring a wonderful warmth to the dish as it is prepared with primarily raw ingredients.
